The police officer Dima and his brother-in-law Sasha are supposed to visit Sasha's grandmother together, who lives far away in Siberia. The romantic relationship between the two is a secret that only one of them can accept. Only after arriving at the grandmother's home, Dima begins to admit his feelings for Sasha. The journey is long, and against the backdrop of the beautiful Siberian landscape, a story of love and suffering plays out, that follows in the footsteps of classical Russian poetics. An ambitious and contemplative feature-length debut by Viatcheslav Kopturevskiy, who, in addition to directing, also wrote, produced, edited and starred as Sasha.
